Balls4Gold is a project started by two Ottawa athletes, Caily Lemmex and Pat Luckett, who are fundraising to compete at the national and international levels in their sports. They want to earn their own money, help other young elite athletes make money for their training, races, etc., and provide a free service to local businesses.
Our goal is to assist local golf courses by collecting lost golf balls from wooded areas and other natural spots. When golf courses partner with us (for free), they can reduce clutter, make their properties easier and safer to maintain, and promote eco-friendly and animal-friendly practices, all while supporting young athletes in the community.
We will regularly clean up and collect stray golf balls, ensuring they are disposed of properly. This not only helps create a cleaner and safer environment for both golfers and nature but also allows us to sell balls that would otherwise go to waste. It’s a Win-Win-Win.

Caily and Patrick are childhood best friends who have supported each other in their athletic journeys for years. Both have become elite athletes in their sports and are struggling to raise money to get them to the next level - Team Canada.
