Youth Athlete of the Year is a public relations competition for US and Canadian athletes aged 7-17.

Founded by NFL quarterback and founder of 3BRAND, Russell Wilson, who teamed up with the US fundraising company Colossal to help shine a spotlight on rising stars and help them level up—with some legendary backup. Colossal. runs the Youth Athlete of the Year competition as part of a fundraising campaign on behalf of DTCare charity.

Young athletes, like Caily, signed up and are racing to see who can get the most votes to be crowned champion in the final round - .

The champion will take home $25,000, and appear in a Colossal/3BRAND advertisement in Sports Illustrated.

The top Competitors from each Group will be divided into Quarterfinals groups. Votes will be reset, and public voting will determine the top one (1) Quarterfinalist from each group who will then advance to the Semifinals.

Semi Final

September 19-25

The top Competitors from each Quarterfinals group will be divided into Semifinals groups. Votes will be reset, and public voting will determine the top one (1) Semifinalist from each group who will then advance to the Finals.

Final

September 26-Oct 2

Votes will be reset, and public voting will determine which Finalist will be the winner of the 2025 Youth Athlete of the Year Competition
